The big split of the year is that divorce of the long term couple Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise. The probable reason behind the filing of the divorce in only this June, that was granted even faster, was disclosed by Katie herself.

According to the present report, Katie is literally struggling over the situation and trying to gain her confidence about not being Mrs. Cruise anymore. According to the sources she has got herself a confidence coach to help her get back her lost voice and confidence. However she appeared to be really happy after the split.

According to Katie Holmes, she was utterly disturbed and disgusted about scientology and never wanted her daughter Suri to follow the religious beliefs of her father. At first she totally turned a blind eye to the actor's religious views, but after marriage since 2006. She has grown tired of the all these.

It is worth mentioning that the duo got married in 2006 in Italy. But eventually the differences between the two came by as the barrier after six years of marriage. Katie Holmes, who is now 33 years old, is now stressed about her plans with the future, her daughter and her career as well.

It has been reported that she has by far no regrets for getting divorced but she has a lot to think and work on and hence she is a bit stressed at the moment. It seems Katie will need some more time to balance her motherhood and work simultaneously.

Katie Holmes stated in an interview about a month ago, "the time I met Tom, I was totally smitten by his charm and gave no thought to the other factors before getting married." It is evident that Katie being older and more experienced now, is more concerned about herself and her daughter. The reliable sources say that she has been sacrificing a lot for days and this is no surprise to their close ones.

It is evident from Katie's appearance and smiles that she is a new being now. The insiders of the circle have disclosed the fact that Katie is beyond happy as she is not being controlled anymore nor anyone is forcing her to follow other religious practices.

The court has given the primary custody rights to Katie and she is totally enjoying her new single life once again. The sources have revealed the fact that Tom Cruise also manipulated and influenced her career and hence at present Katie is putting maximum concentration on her career.

Tom Cruise however got rights for visiting Suri anytime and it seems he is doing his duties as a father well. The father and the daughter were spotted in Disneyland only last week. According to the news sources, tom treated her daughter by booking the suite in the Cinderella castle.

Since Disney does not allow any booking of the suite to anyone but only invites guests of its choice, it seems, Suri is very lucky as she got to spend the night in the castle. The castle glass windows bear the Cinderella story on them and the bathroom has been made as a garden and the ceilings have stars twinkling at night.
